In class we recently had a special delivery
in a box!
We then thought about what might have
been in the box and where it might have gone. We then overheard a conversation with the owner. We concluded it could have been a rare bird and it must have escaped
out of the window! However, it left us enough clues for us to write non-chronological
reports about it. Here are some of our efforts. Please leave a comment and tell

The Amazing Romain Avian
The
Romain Avian birds are recognized as wonderful and amazing birds. Below you can

does it live?
This
rare bird can mostly be found in hot areas of Australia. You will find it in
palm trees on one or two beaches. Furthermore, the avian will roost on a few ocean
cliffs in Australia.

does it eat?
The
bird’s main diet is sea slugs from the bottom of the ocean. The rare bird also
eats mollusks found in the water or on the beach. Very occasionally it can be
seen eating fish.

does it look like?
The
unique bird is yellow, black and grey with a small orange bib around its
stomach. It has a big white circle on its head that scares away predators.

can the bird do?
The
Romain Avian is very good at diving so it can catch its prey. Did you know that
this bird can eat a fish in five seconds? It is also a very fast swimmer. It is
most incredible however, because when it is frightened it can turn invisible!
